SECTION NEEDS YOU!
The
deadline for submitting
your Intent to Seek Election is January 15, 2008
The SWS 2008 Election is just around the corner, and if you've ever wanted to take an active role in the Southwest Section, the time to act is now.
The Nominating Committee is looking for qualified, motivated SWS Ninety-Nines to fill the offices of:
- Governor
- Vice Governor
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Two Directorships
- Five Nominating Committee members
Office requirements
Requirements for most offices are that you have been a member of The Ninety-Nines, Inc. for a period of two years by the date of the Declaration of Intent to Seek Election.
In addition, candidates for Governor and Vice Governor must have been a Chapter Chairman, a member of the Section Board of Directors, or a Section Committee Chairman.
To run for an office
In order to run for election, you must complete the Intent to Seek Election form and submit the form with a background narrative of not more than 150 words.
The deadline for submitting your Intent to Seek Election is January 15, 2008.
